Last September, Chinese EV manufacturer Nio launched its first smartphone with the aptly named Nio Phone. That device is getting a successor and we now have a certification that confirms its updated charging speeds.
Nio Phone 2 (N2401) certification on 3C database
Nio Phone 2 (N2401) will support up to 100W fast wired charging as per the new listing on China’s 3C regulatory database. That’s 50% faster than the 66W speeds on the original Nio Phone and should be one of several upgrades that are yet to be detailed officially.
Nio Phone 1 offers deep integration with its cars allowing you to use the device as a car key and control various aspects of the vehicle like climate controls, seat adjustments, and the infotainment systems on Nio cars.
