Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant tied the knot in a beautiful wedding ceremony on July 12. Bollywood and Hollywood’s biggest names attended the wedding including Shah Rukh, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Rajinikanth, John Cena, Kim Kardashian, and more. The couple had previously hosted two grand pre-wedding celebrations, followed by sangeet, haldi, and a Shiv Shakti puja. Now, several Bollywood and Hollywood A-listers are scheduled to attend their post-wedding celebrations.
The belle of the ball, Radhika Merchant has dressed up in a beautiful pink lehenga for the Shubh Ashirwad ceremony. According to her stylist, Rhea Kapoor, the lehenga’s 12 panels are hand-painted on a special Italian canvas. The ghagra celebrates Anant and Radhika’s journey through deeply meaningful imagery.
The human figures in the attire represent the newly-married couple while the fauna depict Anant’s fondness for animals, particularly elephants that are considered auspicious and beautiful. The craftsmanship features meticulous hand embroidery of real gold Zardozi.
