The cast and crew of a film for National Geographic came to Western Maryland to recreate portions of a documentary about a Russian spy who smuggled plans for an atomic bomb aboard a train in the 1940’s. When the filmmakers needed an authentic vintage train, they decided to shoot aboard the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad in Cumberland, Maryland.
