Xiaomi’s 15 and 15 Pro will be the world’s first smartphones to use the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset from Qualcomm, and they’re expected to become official in October. Even though we’re still many months away, they’ve already been in the rumors quite a lot, and now some new purported spec sheets for both have been outed in China. So let’s dive in.
The Xiaomi 15 is said to come with a 6.36-inch “1.5K” touchscreen with 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,400-nit brightness in High Brightness Mode, up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and a 4,800-4,900 mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

It will be IP68 certified for dust and water ingress. On the rear there will be three cameras, all with 50 MP resolution: a 1/1.31″ main using the OmniVision OV50H sensor, while both the ultrawide and the 3x zoom snappers will employ Samsung’s ISOCELL JN1 (1/2.76″). The front camera will be 32 MP.
The Xiaomi 15 Pro will have the same ingress protection, selfie camera, maximum RAM and storage amounts, a 6.73-inch “2K” screen with 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,400-nit brightness in High Brightness Mode, and a 5,400 mAh battery with support for 120W wired and 80W wireless charging.
Its camera system will comprise of the 50 MP OmniVision OV50N sensor for the main snapper (1/1.3″, f/1.4 aperture), the 50 MP Samsung JN1 for the ultrawide, and an unnamed 50 MP 1/1.95″ sensor for the 3x optical zoom periscope telephoto (1/1.95″).
The Xiaomi 15 is said to start at CNY 4,599 ($632) with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and go up to CNY 5,499 ($756) with 16GB/1TB, while the Pro will start at CNY 5,299-5,499 ($728-756) and go up to CNY 6,299-6,499 ($866-894) in the same RAM/storage combos, respectively.
