Maryland women’s basketball senior Christina Dalce will represent Team USA at the FIBA 3×3 Nations League Americas Conference, held in Mexico City from July 22-28, as announced on July 5.
Dalce, a 6-foot-2 forward who transferred from Villanova, was named Big East Most Improved Player for the 2023-24 season and earned Big East honorable-mention Honors. She led the conference in blocks and rebounding.
Dalce previously competed alongside current teammate Shyanne Sellers at the 2023 FIBA 3×3 U21 Nations League. Together, they qualified for and won the 2023 FIBA 3×3 Nations League Final.
This summer, Dalce will join a talented roster of collegiate athletes, including Morgan Maly from Creighton, Cotie McMahon from Ohio State, Lucy Olsen from Iowa, Mikaylah Williams from LSU and Serah Williams from Wisconsin.
Both the men’s and women’s teams will participate in a training camp in Phoenix from July 18-20 before heading to Mexico. The games will be streamed live on YouTube.
