As you may imagine, I own a ton of makeup and beauty products. I buy them and I also get a bunch of stuff sent to me through PR. I try new products almost on a daily basis and love it when I find a new gem to share with you. That being said, I have found some really amazing products over the years that make me look and feel my best, so I use them every dingle day no matter what. I am sharing the 6 holy grail makeup products my skin is loving that I use every single day with you today. They are not the most fun products, but they work to make me look and feel my best. THE 6 HOLY GRAIL MAKEUP PRODUCTS MY SKIN IS LOVING
THE BEST HYDRATING MOISTURIZER & PRIMER IN ONE
Getting your foundation to look right can be tricky when you are a women over 40 with dry and matyre skin. I swear by this All-In-One Primer and Moisturizer from Bobbi Brown to whip my skin into shape before I apply my makeup. It is delicious on the skin and primes and hydrates like no other product I have found. I carry it under my eyes as well.
AFFORDABLE EYESHADOW PRIMER
This Matte Eye Primer is so affordable and makes the biggest difference underneath eyeshadow, but it is also great on its own for no makeup days. A tiny pin sized amount is enough to cover both eyes. It has yellow neutral undertones that erase redness and make you look more awake instantly. It makes shadow go on smoother, last longer and look truer. I have 5 tubes for back up because i ma so worried I will run out.
MY HOLY GRAIL FOUNDATION
I rarely use anything else besides this It Cosmetics Illuminating CC+ Cream. It covers my rosacea beautifully and gives it a lovely glow without looking heavy or cakey. I love that it has skin loving ingredients as well as SPF 50 sunscreen. I have gone through countless tubes of it and just love it. My favorite way to appIy it is with a damp beauty blender. It gives a flawless and blurring effect.
TINTED EYEBROW GEL
This Benefit Gimme Brow Gel gives my brows the desired fluffiness and fullness in mere seconds. I had my brows micro bladed so this is pretty much all I need now to get my brows looking their best. I have tired to find a more affordable alternative but I have yet to find the perfect one. This one that is pretty close at Sephora, but it is a tad too dark for me. It may work for you though.
LUMINOUS BRONZING POWDER
I never, ever go without bronzer. I love how it this True Match Lumi Bronzer warms up my skin to give it a healthy glow. This is my current favorite one. It adds a slight glow to my pasty winter skin and is light enough so it doesn’t look orange at all. I use a big fluffy brush to apply it to the apples of my cheeks, across my forehead and a little on the tip of my nose.
BUDGET FRIENDLY DEWY SETTING SPRAY
I am obsessed with this Milani Make It Last Setting Spray and use a ton of it. This is the only makeup product wehre I will tell you that more is more. If your makeup doesn’t last the entire day, you are not using enough of this spray. I douse myself in it. It has a micro fine mist that takes down the makeup and blends and sets everything beautifully for a bargain price of $12.00. It has quickly taken over for this one, my old favorite that is fabulous but so much more expensive and I would go through it so quickly. This is just as good for a fraction of the price.
