22-Year-Old Man Suffers Finger Amputation After Dog Bite In Lexington Park

LEXINGTON PARK, Md. – On August 1, 2024, at approximately 9:11 p.m., emergency personnel responded to a reported dog bite in the 21000 Block of Liberty Street. A caller advised the dog was isolated and the tip of the victim’s finger was found and collected. 

EMS arrived and found a 22-year-old man with a partially amputated finger. He was transported to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment. 

Just two days ago a man was transported to a trauma center after a dog attack in Waldorf.
